Taylor Swift Will Re-Record Red Album

 

Swift is known for her song lyrics telling a lot about her personal life. She was one of the world's best-selling musicians and the highest-earning female musician of the 2010s. Swift has won numerous awards, including the Grammy Awards and the Billboard Music Awards.

Singer Taylor Swift has stated that she will re-record her songs from red album containing 30 songs. It became the second album re-recorded by Taylor Swift after fearless (Taylor's Version) in April 2021. This was conveyed by Taylor Swift through an upload on Twitter on Saturday (19/6) which revealed that she will re-record the album Red released in 2012. The new version of the album will be released on November 19. In a social media post, Taylor Swift also explained the context of her plans for the new version.

"Musically and lyrically, Red resembles a heartbroken man. It's everywhere, a mosaic of fractured feelings that somehow all fit in the end," taylor swift said. Happy, free, confused, lonely, devastated, euphoric, wild, and tormented by memories of the past. I went to the studio and experimented with different voices and collaborators," she continued. 

The You Belong With Me singer also said that she is trying to devote all her ability to re-recording the album Red that has been featured in the hope of Swifties, a nickname for fans of Taylor Swift. "Sometimes I need to talk about it (over and over again) in order to really be.... end. Like when a friend called in the middle of the night about her ex-lover, I couldn't stop writing. This will be the first time you've heard all 30 songs on [the album] Red. And, one of them is even 10 minutes long," taylor swift concluded.

The re-release of Red's album is a continuation of Taylor Swift's project to re-record fearless. The album titled Fearless (Taylor's Version) was released by Taylor Swift in April 2021. Billboard reported that fearless's re-recorded album, released in 2008, sold 291,000 album-equivalent units in the United States in the week to April 15. The project was Taylor Swift's move to re-acquire the rights to the music work from her first six albums, after the music manager, Scooter Braun, through the company Ithaca Holding acquired Taylor's old label, Big Machine, in June 2019.

In addition, Taylor Swift has also released a new album folklore containing 16 songs. Albums were written and recorded in isolation during the Covid-19 pandemic. Taylor Swift has won Album of The Year at the 2021 Grammys. The achievement made her the first woman to win the award three times. A few months later, Taylor Swift re-released a new album titled evermore as a second surprise after folklore album. Evermore's album contains 15 songs and features several musicians such as Haim, The National, and Bon Iver.
