Conor McGregor recently lost a fight to Dustin Poirier via TKO (Technical Knockout) at UFC 264. McGregor's love affair with Dee Devlin is buzzing again.

The story of Conor McGregor and Dee Devlin has been a long time to be discussed. Dee Devlin is regarded as the one who encouraged McGregor's hard work.

They have been in love since 2008, when Conor McGregor began his career as a professional MMA fighter. Both are from Dublin, Ireland.

Conor McGregor and Dee Devlin are said to have met for the first time at a party. From that meeting, the two fell in love instantly. Now, nearly a decade later, the couple have two children together - Conor Jr. and Croia.

"He was already training when I met him, so I really admired his dedication to it," Dee Devlin told VIPs in 2013.

McGregor had a dream at the time. One is to build a family and a bright future with Dee Devlin.

"I am doing this to secure the future of my family and the future of Dee. One day, I and Dee wanted to relax on the beach and not worry about the future. That's why I'm doing this. I want to be financially secure by the time I have children. When that happens, I want to be ready," McGregor said.

Almost after the fight, McGregor also expressed gratitude for the support he always gets from Dee Devlin. For example, when he won over Chad Mendes in 2015, which earned him the UFC featherweight title.

"My girlfriend has been around since the beginning. He has helped me throughout this career. If it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't be where I am today," he said.

"My girlfriend worked really hard for years and got stuck because I basically had nothing. I just dreamed like I told him. For me, to be able to take him out of work, give him everything he wants and travel the world with him makes me proud. It keeps me going. We've been together a long time. He's been through it all with me."

it was only when McGregor won, Dee Devlin also called him the first person to ever come when he suffered defeat. Like his first loss to Nate Diaz in 2016.

"Everything's fine, everything's fine," McGregor said mimicking Dee Devlin's remarks.

If you look at Conor McGregor's figure in the ring, of course there's a lot of controversy. He is known as a cavalier fighter. But, on Dee Devlin's Instagram, McGregor's image doesn't seem to have changed, he's a figure who loves his family so much. In fact, it is not uncommon for the child's momong, while bare-chested.
