Lionel Messi's Summer

 

Lionel Messi is enjoying a summer vacation with his family. La Pulga spent time in Florida, USA.

Messi packed a suitcase for the holidays after delivering Argentina the 2021 Copa America title last week. The 34-year-old star departed from her hometown of Rosario, Argentina.

Initially, Messi wanted to make a visit to Spain on Tuesday (16/07/2021). However, the plan was delayed due to a bomb threat at Rosario airport a few hours before its departure.

Lionel Messi and family decided to divert their vacation to Florida, USA. The six-time Ballon d'Or winner arrived in Miami on Thursday (16/7) and visited a restaurant called Cafe Ragazzi.

According to a Daily Mail report, Messi was greeted by hundreds of fans who wanted to meet him. He seemed to be surrounded by fans, so had to be helped by a bodyguard to get inside the restaurant.

Cafe Ragazzi restaurant is owned by Argentine-Venezuelan singer Ricardo Montaner. He uploaded a picture of Messi at his restaurant.

"Last night, the number 1 person on the planet came for dinner at Cafe Ragazzi. Thank you Leo for allowing us to honor you, and thank you for all the happiness you have given us all the time," Montaner wrote on @montanertwitter account.

The next day, Messi enjoyed some time with the family by basking in the Florida sun. A photo circulated of him relaxing on a long chair wearing only shorts.

Not only sunbathing, Messi was also caught swimming with his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, and their son, Ciro. A happy smile emanated from La Pulga's face.

Lionel Messi is expected to spend longer on holiday, before returning to Barcelona at the end of this month. He is reportedly set to sign a new five-year contract with Blaugrana.
